November 13 th , Tuesday @ 7pm , Leonard Recreation Center - Jim Brady is going to talk about "Wet Flies: History and Strategies". Did you know originally there were only wet flies; dry flies had not been invented? Jim will explain how the wet fly has evolved, and how it can fill a niche in your arsenal of searching patterns. Learn how to become a well-rounded fly fisherman by using soft hackle patterns. December 11th, Tuesday @ 7pm Leonard Recreation Center - Ben Ricks, District II Biologist, Division of Inland Fisheries is going to talk about changes in the Neuse River since dams have been removed. We will get the results from the fish counts this fall and find out how far up the Neuse the stripers and shad are migrating.
